What the doctor have called me back if I was at risk of diabetes?
I went for a general blood test a couple of weeks back and the results, and my mum told me that they said the results were clear and that essentially, my blood sugar level was low therefore they didn't need to call me back in to get tested for diabetes. So I'm just wondering if this means I definately don't have diabetes. Because I have many of the symptoms for type 2 diabetes which is fairly odd as I'm 17, male. LI got tingling in my hands and feet, I often get a dry mouth, I frequently get fatique, and my vision is very blurry. And occasionally at night I need the toilet quite alot. What should I do?

How high is my metabolism? And am I at risk of diabetes?
I'm 13 years old and approximately 105 and BMI of 18.6. I eat fairly small meals I leave a lot on my dinner plate , but I tend to snack on a lot of chocolate. Usually, the only time I ever do exercise with some exceptions is PE at school, which is twice a week. I don't ever seem to gain much wait, even though my parents say I eat way too much junk food So, I was wondering of I had a high metabolism or if it's just because I don't seem to eat much else...My parents are a regular weight, and my sister is slightly overweight..Just wondering if anyone knew. Also, another question Am I at risk of diabetes? Just wondering because I consume a large amount of sugar and my mother always says that I could be at risk. Plus, my grandfather has it.I also don't appreciate being insulted It's not very nice to have some ''know it all'' strange say disrespectful things to you
Does lack of sleep increase your risk of diabetes?
I'm 17 years old and I was just diagnosed as pre diabetic. I eat really healthy and exercise regularly. I'm not overweight. The main risk factor I have is that my dad, mom, grandma. grandpa, 2 uncles, and a few great uncles are all diabetic. Some have type 1 and some have type 2, but it's a big family history. I was doing some research for a school paper though that just happened to be about diabetes and it mentioned something about lack of sleep. I was wondering if that was a big factor as well? Because I'm controlling my diet and exercise to try and keep from becoming diabetic, but like I said I'm already pretty healthy and my doctor said it might just happen anyways. But if lack of sleep is a risk factor, I really have that. I'm a senior in high school and my school is a college prep so it's 10 hours a day plus at least 4 hours of homework. I get MAYBE 5 hours of sleep at the most. I really don't know how I could fix that without failing out of school, but I'm curious if that increases the risk? Thanks
