What are some of the most common risk factors for diabetes?
Is age a factor? How about just one of your parents having it? Do they both have to have it in order for you to get it too?And what are some of the most common signs you may have diabetes? Like what should you be on the look out for?I'm just kind of confused over the whole the so I'd like for someone to maybe shine some light on it.
Is this the risk factor for diabetes?
Can someone for example turn himself into a diabetic by eating alot of donuts on daily basis? And also eating them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner? Could that be a risk of diabetes? If so, please give me a specific answer, thanks.

Is a diet high in complex carbohydrates a risk factor for diabetes?
I eat a lot of complex carbohydrates such as whole wheat pasta, brown rice, lentils, etc. My diet is very low in sugar it mainly consists of these carb sources, vegetables, some fruit, and water. If I'm hitting at or above 100 % of the DV for carbohydrates daily, is this a very bad thing for blood sugar levels and will it put me at risk for developing diabetes? As I said, my diet is very clean and very low in sugar. I exercise daily and have a healthy weight, but I'm concerned about my high carbohydrate intake. Thanks for reading.
