Are pancreas infections fatal?
My girlfriends brother has a pancreas infection and I want to promise her that he won't die, but I can't.. Is this type of infection deadly?

Possible cyst on pancreas?
So my brother had a lot of pain yesterday and had to go to the E.R. they found a little shadowing on the pancreas and there thinking it might be a cyst. There going to run tests on Friday and Monday right away to see if its a cyst and or if it's cancerous.What should I expect? As a little sister? My parents are very calm and I am as well. But I like to prepare myself. My dad said he would have an estimate of 2 3years if it's cancerous to live...
Is it my pancreas that is hurting!?!? HELP!?
Last night i felt terrible I had a headache and the area where my pancreas is located was hurting so bad. I could barely go to sleep because i felt so bad. So i got a rice pack and heated it up and put it on the spot that it was hurting and it seemed to help a little. I had a low fever. Then i got dizzy and ringing in my ears so i got some ice cold water which seemed to help. My stomach hurts a lot almost everyday and I dont feel good at night sometimes when i lay down. Its really starting to bother me. Whats the matter???

ive had pancreatitas 3X now over 9 years. last episode last october.1st time in 2003 they said it was alcohol related......2nd episode they said it was sludge and took my gallbladder....last october they did not know why I got it. i have not had a drop of alcohol since my 2nd episode in 2006. so thats why I DEMANDED some answers. my gastrointerologist was content with telling me he doesnt know why I had my last episode. that's when I " fired" him and found a doctor who, like myself wants to know WHY I had another episode. So.......MY QUESTION IS.....WHAT MIGHT A CT SCAN SHOW US? thanks
