I was wondering what a convenient monitor for type 2 would be that I could purchase at a pharmacy like CVS, or Walgreens? Thanks a lot.

I have 3 4 of the symptoms of type 2 diabetes, and my mom said that she will take me for a blood test but can the doctors tell if i have diabetes by a blood test? The symptoms that i have are i frequently have to go to the bathroom, i am thirsty most of the time, not a lot but sometimes i have been getting blurry vision but just for a few seconds, my appetite hasn't changed though i eat a bit more but not much more than usual, i used to be very hyper and energetic and lately i have been feeling weaker and tired my friends have noticed this and asked me why i have been so quiet lately , my feet and hands don't tingle often like once a week......BUT one of the main causes of diabetes is being obese or overweight but i am under weight i am 5" 2 and i weight 88 pounds and i am 14 also do you think i could have diabetes?

Gestational diabetes, glucose numbers confusion?
For the last 2 days all my numbers have been within range, that has not happened since I started taking them, some times 1 or 2 will be fine but never all 4. Today I forgot to take my morning insulin but I did take my fasting number which was 81, at a work meeting I ate 2 doughnuts and my 2 hour number was 111. Normally, after insulin, eggs and toast would have made it hit around 180 190. It seems like a good thing that they are within range but I am pretty freaked out that all of a sudden no matter what I eat with or without my insulin the numbers are normal. Any ideas on what could be going on?
In type 2 diabetes, glucose stays in the bloodstream rather than entering the cells..?
