Could this be borderline diabetes?
I have severe gastroenteritis and every doctor that I've gone to when told that will state " oh you are diabetic then" ...and I'm not or never been diagnosed. Some time back my A1c was 6.4, then past couple days I've noticed that after I've eaten I begin to get a slight lightheaded feeling. So yesterday 2 hrs after I had eaten a hamburger and coke, 4 hrs after a donut my BS was 142 but my A1c was only 5.8. I've had FBS before and always been normal. Couple years ago my internest did a 4 hr glucose test and final reading he said it must be wrong because mine was low and should have been high. Anyone have suggestions?
I have emphysema and on steroids. It has put on 40Pd's and i have arthritis. borderline diabetes help me diet

I have been feeling very tired even if I get enough sleep 7 to 8 hrs. , my mouth is really, really dry, even if drink water all day, I have lower back pain that comes and go's. Sometimes my lower abdomen hurts. My legs hurt sometimes for no apparent reason. I have been experiencing these symptoms since last September. I went to the doctors and a PA said I have muscle spasms in my back that can even cause leg pain. He didn't do any blood tests though. The medication he gave me for back pain didn't work, I still have pain. If it is borderline diabetes or type 2 diabetes already, can there already be damage down to my organs? Also, my diet isn't all that great, but I am very active. I walk about 2 3 miles a day, fast past everyday. I also have a 3 and 4 year old that keeps me active on top of that. Thanks for your help everyone.I forgot to add that I have to pee like every 20 30 minutes and my vision hasn't been good for a couple months

i have been diagnosed borderline diabetes, does this mean i will become diabetic? I only eat fish, veg, fruit, smoothies, salads, and make al my own dishes. ocassionaly eat eggs or rice noodles, im even having salmon and pine nut with a wardorlf salad for xmas dinner how can i still be borderline? i was orginaly diagnosed 3 years ago and its not back to normal.
